Dana M. Olwan, Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies, WGS, Syracuse University.
Olwan is the author of Gender Violence and the Transnational Politics of Honor Crime (Ohio State UP, 2021) and co-editor with Margaret Pappano of Muslim Mothering: Local and Global Histories, Theories, and Practices (Demeter Press, 2016). She currently serves on the National Women’s Studies Association Council. She has demonstrated a commitment to building Muslim communities in her region and nationally.
